About Me
Hi! I’m Yan — a toy product designer focused on early-stage concept development and play pattern ideation, turning ideas into market-ready products.
I specialize in brainstorming concepts, shaping modular systems, developing character styles, and creating clear sketches teams can build on.
Alongside concept work, I have hands-on experience collaborating with engineering, costing, and manufacturing teams — especially on preschool and baby gear products — balancing play value, brand language, and production realities.
I love bringing personality and story into every idea — whether it’s baby gear with hidden surprises, preschool toys that grow with kids, blue-sky brainstorming, or a weird-cute zombie neighbor who trims hair for free. My goal is always the same: make something fun, charming, and full of heart.
When I’m not sketching, you’ll probably find me diving, watching anime, or collecting inspiration from everyday life (usually something silly or unexpectedly cute).
Thanks for stopping by — I hope my work gives you a smile and maybe sparks an idea of your own.
